What Dojo costs per year, worked out
Dojo publishes 1.2% blended for businesses under £100,000 annual card turnover. Here is that rate applied to real volumes with the hardware counted, and an honest "quote" where the published price stops applying.

How the sums work
Yearly transaction cost is monthly card sales × 12 × 1.2%. Above £100,000 annual card turnover (about £8,300 a month) Dojo quotes case by case instead - Above £100,000 a year Dojo quotes a custom rate on a 12-month fixed plan or 30-day rolling. We have seen quotes as low as 0.29% for high-turnover businesses. Break-even against the flat-rate readers on the monthly hardware plan: ~£5,100/month card turnover (direct, £25/month hardware plan) against SumUp, ~£4,550/month card turnover (direct, £25/month hardware plan) against Square. The optional Plus software plan (£11.99/month per location) and keyed/online rates are not included. Through MerchantSwitch, Dojo's switcher deal includes the terminal and up to £3,000 towards an old provider's exit fees (Dojo's switcher offer; eligibility confirmed at quote).
